Desert vibes

Every. photographer’s. dream.

This past week the desert stole my heart. There is no shortage of palm trees or cacti. With that said, I knew I’d love being surrounded by all the pretty prickly plants (try saying that 10 times! Ha)  in Arizona but didn’t realize I’d find myself wanting to move there. We spent a lot of time during golden hour (sunrise & sunset times) to explore nature’s beauty in the pink and orange glow – also the best time for photos! I resisted the urge to snap a thousand photos in a place as beautiful as this to soak it all in apart from my lens and provide intentional photos such as these. <3

*Personal note* Nearly everyone carried a fancy camera, but the tour guides and strangers (who I asked to snap photos of me & Matt) recognized I’m a photographer. It felt incredibly humbling to stand out from the masses. My passion has led me here – exactly where I’m meant to be.
